This video showcases the complete process of fabricating and plastic extrusion welding custom spray deflectors (chines) onto a Polycraft boat.

The vessel is manufactured from rotomoulded LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene), a highly durable and impact-resistant material that allows for a range of structural modifications. In this demonstration, we design, fabricate, and weld new spray deflectors to enhance ride quality, reduce water spray, and improve overall on-water performance.

From preparation and fit-up through to final extrusion welds, this video highlights the techniques, equipment, and attention to detail required to achieve a strong, clean, and long-lasting result.
